two questions - Guild Wars Forums

hey there...im a noob to these forums but i have been folowing this game for a while, and even though i have searched through pages and pages of info i still dont have the answer to these three questions so it would be nice if anyone who knows the answers could tell me;

1. When you preorder the LimitedEdition version of the game you get the 'Divine Aura' item, i have been told that it is impossible to change the colour of the item once you have set it and it will be on all of your characters forever. This seems extremly far fetched to me since the game would be rubbish if you were stuck with a crappy glow throughout the game (as in a glow that doesn't suit your profession)

2. In a guild i know there are different rankings, but can you have two players that are the same rank (ie...two leaders)

3. In the game could my 'user' be electronix but my player name totally different?

1. Try searching Collector's Edition instead of Limited Edition. It was renamed sometime ago.

3. I think your username is your email address you use to login for your account (that's just a guess from the look of the loginscreen) and your player names will be different because 1: You can have more than one character, so you'd need more than 1 name. 2: You need at least one space in your character name, so basically it's like a First name and a Second name, except that can be bent to put a title to your name, or "Someone the something" instead. As long as it's 19 letters or below.

And I thought your thread title said two questions... hehe

To the best of my knowledge, there is only one official guild rank, and that is Leader. There can only be one leader. That's not to say your guild can't have a structure outside of what GW officially allows, of course - you can set up your guild however you want.

I know of two different ranks, there may be more. The guild I am in has the position "Leader" which is for the person who created the Guild, and then there is another section of Leadership positions(I don't remember what they where called in game), but those who where in this catagory had most of the same powers that the Leader had.

1. The Aura is equipable, which means you are able to remove it if you don't see it as something you want to be "stuck with".

2. No idea.

3. Your 'user login' is your email address, but you choose a diffrent name for each of your characters.

Example:
Login: [email protected]

Character names:
Billy Bob
Billy Ray
Bob Billy
Ray Bob

For question number two, there are three types of formal guild rankings. One is the guild leader (you can only have one), the second is guild officer, and the third is guild member. You can have multiple officers, and the guild cap for members at the moment is 100.

Both the guild leader and the guild officers can invite others into the guild. Members are.. well.. members. Self-explanatory.
